Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Buffalo will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in New York usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (917) 868-7130. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 126 reviews, which is a strong result for a cafe in Buffalo and suggests consistent service.
Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Buffalo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had a very disappointing experience with this establishment. As someone familiar with authentic Bengali cuisine, I found the food here did not reflect the quality, freshness, or traditional taste that one would expect. The dishes lacked authenticity and did not meet basic expectations in terms of flavor and preparation. In addition, the overall presentation, cleanliness, and business approach left much to be desired. A restaurant should not only focus on selling food, but also on maintaining quality, consistency, and respect for the culture it represents. I believe there is significant room for improvement, especially in food quality, customer experience, and professionalism. I would encourage the owners to take feedback seriously and work toward delivering a more authentic and respectful representation of Bengali cuisine. For others considering visiting, I would recommend doing some research beforehand to ensure it aligns with your expectations.

The fuchka were tasty, needed a little bit more spice. The fuchka shots were fun to eat but the regular fuchka were better than the shots.

Love this neighborhood tea spot!! Everything we had was amazing and had a true taste of Bangladesh. The fuchka shots were so fun and innovative (tasted delicious too). And the piping hot shingara was my personal favourite with the perfect amount of spice! And of course the cha in cute clay cups were so tasty. Definitely recommend!!

Such a cozy cafΓ©! The cha tastes just like homeβrich, milky, and full of flavor. I tried the vegetable chow mein, samosa, and fuchka, and all of them were delicious. The chow mein was perfectly stir-fried and not greasy, the samosa had a flaky crust with a warm spiced filling, and the fuchka was spot onβcrispy with tangy tamarind water that reminded me of back home street food. The owners are so kind and welcoming too, makes the whole experience even better. Definitely my new go-to spot!
